HOW IT HAPPENED

Did you hear the words
that turned your dark hours
into light?
In your cold night of fear
when you found heaven
here and now.
How did it happen?

I stepped back from the self
that said it was me,
and made room for God to speak.
I understood I was nothing
without His Mind,
without His pure thoughts.

So in they came,
sweeping through me,
leaving me bright and clean.
Then in the stillness of Love
I was home ...
