FREEDOM FROM FORECLOSURE
FOR SEVERAL DECADES I was a responsible property owner in different parts of the country. So it was hard for me to believe that I could ever be in danger of having my home in "foreclosure." But that's the situation I found myself in not too long ago.
A number of years had passed since the breakup of my marriage meant I had to rent a house and become self-employed. But as a new business owner, I had developed a reliance on God to show me the way—to be my partner. The result was a steady increase in my business and income.
So when my daughter moved to a new school across town, I had no fear about looking at properties to purchase. Actually, I was joyous about the prospect of being a homeowner again. And as the opportunity to buy opened up over several months, I knew it was undoubtedly in God's hands.
