Thank you for the Sentinel of February 25 ["Prayer—facing down the threat of recession]". The article by Ned Odegaard arrived when I had gone back to my basics—my Christian Science Primary class instruction notes. I had pulled out the notes to search for spiritual truths with which I could heal my country's economy after the post-election violence. The article and the editorial, "Praying through tough economic times," responded to my spiritual need.

I am learning that trimming my budgets, prospecting for new investments, and stepping up my savings in reaction to statistics on economic recession are not spiritual wisdom. We must affirm that divine economy is always in equilibrium, and that God's supply cannot dry up while we manage our wants for continued mental comfort in Life.
