SWIFT RECOVERY FROM CARBON MONOXIDE EXPOSURE

As a student of Christian Science, I've had many proofs of God's care throughout my life. And I've seen many healings take place in my family. Some of them were healings of a crippling hip problem, impetigo, blood poisoning, and grease burns—to name just a few. But until now, I've never submitted a written testimony for publication. A life-changing healing of carbon monoxide poisoning has impelled me to do so now.

Late one evening in the fall of 2001, I was about to join my husband for the dinner he'd prepared, when I received an urgent call, requesting that I attend to a woman in her home, in my capacity as a Christian Science nurse. Since I was to spend the night, I quickly got ready and was on my way.

When I arrived at the woman's house, a Christian Science practitioner was visiting the patient, and two helpful neighbors were there making sure everything was in order. One of them stayed behind to show me the gas wall furnace and how to operate it before leaving the house herself.
