My safe place in a storm
I live in a little town in Mississippi. In January this year, we had storms and horrible weather. I was really afraid. My mom and I talked with a friend by e-mail. She told Mom and me to read Hymn 148 in the Christian Science Hymnal. I liked what it says in the first verse:
The storm may roar without me,
My heart may low be laid;
But God is round about me,
And can I be dismayed?
