DIAGNOSED HEART PROBLEMS HEALED

In 2006, I had to undergo a medical examination that was required in order to renew my driver's license. The doctor informed me that because my blood pressure was very high, he would not be able to renew my category D driver's license. This meant I would no longer be able to drive vehicles designated for transporting people, such as vans and buses, unless I presented a certificate from a cardiologist, declaring that the state of my health was appropriate for this category. Since I'd driven this type of vehicle for many years before retiring, and I still did whenever necessary, I did not want to lose this license.

I've studied Christian Science for many years, and I've always cared for my health through prayer. However, faced with the necessity of presenting a medical report in order to renew my license, I visited a cardiologist. After a series of examinations, he confirmed that I had serious heart problems that needed urgent treatment.

In spite of this alarming diagnosis, I remained calm and instead asked a Christian Science practitioner to help me seek healing through prayer.
