They vanished right before my eyes

One time I came home from walking our three dogs. I took Oreo, the Chihuahua, upstairs to give her a bath. And I noticed I had quite a few bumps all the way up my arm. It looked like poison oak or poison ivy. My dad and I washed it. The rash and bumps were spreading up my arm quickly; it was scary. Dad shared some thoughts about God with me that helped me not be afraid.

Then we called a Christian Science practitioner. She said that God didn't create skin blemishes or anything that could hurt me. God wouldn't let anything bad, or any error, happen to me. And I thought about this helpful rhyme that the practitioner shared with me: "Error, error, get right out, I've got God to think about." When you're thinking about God, there's no room for fear. The Bible says, "There is no fear in love" (I John 4:18). So I kept thinking that God was protecting me. He loves me unconditionally. And He is always here. I started feeling a lot better.

After I hung up the phone, I watched the bumps vanish right before my eyes.
