PROOFS OF GOD'S HEALING LOVE

Some years ago, there were widespread reports of a serious flu epidemic in the area where I lived. News programs warned that soon after an initial recovery, the symptoms would reappear more aggressively.

Soon, I, too, came down with the symptoms. But because I'd experienced permanent healing a number of times in Christian Science through prayer alone, I again turned to this effective treatment for healing.

During several days at home, I persisted in prayer with the Bible's assurance that Spirit, or God, made man and woman in His image (see Gen. 1:26). I reasoned in this way: My real identity must also be spiritual and good. Since Spirit, God, is real and true, any opposing sense of reality must be merely a counterfeit, a fake, a fraud.
