BACK INJURY COMPLETELY HEALED

I continue to be profoundly grateful for the teachings of Christian Science, which enable us to heal through the understanding of God and His perfect creation. This became especially important to me last year when I injured my back the day before leaving on a trip to the East Coast to celebrate Thanksgiving with our three sons and their families.

I had planned to take an extra large suitcase in order to include a heavy Christmas gift for one of my sons.

To meet the maximum luggage weight limit, I wanted to check the weight of my packed suitcase on a bathroom scale. When I lifted it, however, I felt something give way in my lower back. I didn't know exactly what had happened physically, but I found I couldn't move or breathe without severe pain.
