TWO QUICK HEALINGS

One thing I never miss reading in the Sentinel are the testimonies of healing. These reports are the nitty-gritty of spiritual practice. If there is no proof of the Science in demonstration, there is nothing to talk about! So it's privilege for me to share two experiences that have meant a great deal.

The first happened during a trip to Africa. On the last day, during which I was contacting a grass-roots organization in a rural area, I started having symptoms of dysentery. I was able to take the afternoon off to undertake prayer for myself, studying both the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. By the evening, it seemed I was healed, and I was able to go out with friends for a normal dinner.

However on the way to the airport the next day, the symptoms returned. I was extremely uncomfortable and concerned I might not be able to stay in my seat during the flight. On the plane, I continued praying.
