REACTIONS TO the Virginia Tech shootings have ranged from stunned shock to outrage, with people pondering how they can find comfort and healing, and chart a safe course for going forward.
The Christian Science Publishing Society's website, spirituality.com, looks at how some people are doing this in a section called "Prayers for Virginia Tech."
The site includes a special Christian Science Sentinel Radio program, "In silence, feeling the presence and power of God," which explores the ways people are finding inspiration and strength in prayer, in their responses to the incident and its aftermath. Listening to or downloading this special program is free.
Enjoy 1 free Sentinel article or audio program each month, including content from 1898 to today.
