HEALING ACCOMPLISHED IN ONE VISIT
Originally published in Le Héraut de la Science Chrétienne
"If the Scientist reaches his patient through divine Love, the healing work will be accomplished at one visit, and the disease will vanish into its native nothingness like dew before the morning sunshine" (p. 365). This passage from Science and Health summarizes perfectly what happened to me 28 years ago.
An X-ray had revealed a stomach ulcer, and the doctor had spoken to me about surgery. At the time, I was taking a lot of medication because I had quite a few other physical problems that were more or less serious.
One day, at my wife's request, I attended a service at the Christian Science church in Pau, which had just been established. Actually, my wife, who had been on a spiritual search, had suddenly become very interested in the teachings of Christian Science and insisted that I go to church with her.
