SEVERE BOUTS OF DIZZINESS HEALED
Last winter, I faced a very busy week, culminating in a significant presentation I had to make. On top of that, I was scheduled to fly to a distant city with our daughter for a college visit.
For several weeks, as I prepared for these activities, I'd been experiencing moments of dizziness and the feeling that I would lose consciousness. When these sensations occurred, I prayed to feel God's unchanging, constant love for me, and the episodes would quickly pass. But beyond that, I didn't give these interruptions too much thought.
The day before the college trip, I was in a waiting room at an auto mechanic's shop while my car was being repaired. Suddenly, I was overwhelmed with dizziness and began to lose consciousness. All I could do at that moment was hold on to the thought that God was with me right there, holding me and helping me. These comforting ideas enabled me to stay conscious. During this struggle of several minutes, my cellphone rang. It was my daughter, and when I told her what was happening, she drove from her school to the shop in order to help.
