I had to start at a NEW SCHOOL
My name is Grace, and I am 10 years old.
My dad is in the Army. He was deployed to Iraq for a year. And after a few months at home again, my dad was sent back overseas. We lived in Georgia at Fort Gordon, but my mom decided that we should move near our family while Dad was away again. So we moved to Oklahoma to live in the same town as my grandparents.
I had to start at a new school in late fall. It was a big change for me because I had gone to the same school since kindergarten, and now I was in the fourth grade.
