Healed in the middle of the night

One time last year, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling poorly. I prayed to God to know that with Him there is no such thing as being poorly. In my Christian Science Sunday School class, I learned that there is only one God and He is perfect. God creates everything perfect. The Bible says that we are made in God's image. And His image is as perfect as He is. That meant I was perfect, too, because I am a reflection of God.

I went to my bookshelf and got out Science and Health. First I read the Lord's Prayer (pp. 16–17). Then I read "the scientific statement of being." It's on page 468. The part I found most helpful was, "There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter." After I read this and thought about it, I felt a lot better. I went back to bed and slept through till morning. When I woke up, I was completely better, and I was able to go to school.

I'm glad to be a Christian Scientist and attend a Christian Science Sunday School because Christian Science teaches us how to solve our problems and be healed.
