CHILDHOOD DESIRE REALIZED

DURING MY CHILDHOOD YEARS, I was healed through prayer of earaches, flu, and other difficulties, and began to think that to heal spiritually must be the best thing anyone could do. That conviction was a well-planted seed of desire to heal others.

As a teenager, however, I began to question whether prayer really works in every situation.

Some years later, after my wife and I had children, the desire to really understand spiritual healing resurfaced. My wife, a newcomer to Christian Science, and I decided to take Christian Science Primary class instruction together. To us, this was a joint commitment as a married couple to our unity in divine Love and to our individual growth in understanding God.
