LETTERS
I would like to thank Karen Van Nort for her article, "A walk on the safe side," in the February 7 Sentinel ["Iraq"]. One idea I got from her article is how one can pray deeply when out walking, in the streets or in the countryside. I have always known this, but it was powerful for me to have it reaffirmed in print.
One of the things I love about prayer is that we are connected to God 24/7. And praying for me is just finetuning thought into an even higher connection, so much so that it attracts others looking for healing, such as the man who "stepped alongside" Karen to demand money. He was stunned when he heard the Truth spoken with such love! And Karen was so "tuned in" that she "didn't feel even a tinge of fear."
