HEALED OF CHRONIC ALLERGIES— ONCE AND FOR ALL

Three years ago, I began to develop symptoms of allergies in the fall of the year. As time went on, they became more pronounced, and each time I experienced them, I would pray for relief. Over the years, I'd had so many healings through prayer of other illnesses, that I knew I could rely on God for this healing, too.

About a year and a half ago, I had been praying for a couple of weeks for relief. I asked a Christian Science practitioner to pray with me, and the symptoms did abate as they had on other occasions when I prayed on my own.

However, one morning I woke up with so much pain and congestion, I thought, I just can't keep thinking that I've been healed completely only to have the symptoms reappear again and again. Up until then, I would pray, and the allergy symptoms would go away, only to appear again at a later date. Now I asked God, "What do I need to know to be completely healed?" The thought came to me that because God had created me as His own, I had a right to freedom, peace of mind, happiness, and health. I knew that I could turn my thought to God and keep it focused on Him in order to realize more fully that right at that moment I was the fearless, healthy, loving child that God had created.
