"LINCOLNSHIRE [UK] IS TO BE a part of the Global Day of Prayer which will take place on Pentecost Sunday, May 15, 2005. ... Organisers the Reverend Stuart Darlison and Joy Liddle of the Threshold Leadership Team said: 'This is a great opportunity for the churches across the East Midlands to join together at Sincil Bank and fill this stadium, which seats around 9,000, to worship together and pray with Christians all over the globe for our communities, regions, and nations, as well as for the world.' ...

"It represents a call and a movement of God to the challenge facing the regions. The first stage was to invite Cape Town Christians in South Africa to unite in a Day of Repentance and Prayer. More than 45,000 Christians gathered, and this started a process that has changed the city.
