Letters
I would like Warren Bolon to know how much I appreciated his conversation with Brian Murphy about USAID and life in Iraq [in the August 2 issue, "Psalms for Sudan"]. I was particularly pleased that I found a description of the activity in Africa.
I have read about the massacre of the Tutsi in Rwanda, but Murphy's words "so many who had felt the hand (and machete) of State injustice" really brought its horror home to me. I often have tried to conceptualize this violence but hadn't been able to do so until I read this simple article composed of e-mail messages between these men.
