When the June 7 issue arrived, I quickly glanced through its contents and noticed the interview: "From Saigon to Boston—Mary Baker Eddy's great—great—great—grandson discovers who she was," by Marilyn Jones. After perusing the first few sentences, I found that I just had to keep on reading the entire article. It was so thrilling to find out about the special visit to The Mary Baker Eddy Library for the Betterment of Humanity by the great—great—great—grandson of the founder of this magazine. What a truly unique and refreshing perspective on the Library and its namesake.
I really liked George Washington Glover VI's description of Christian Science: "It's really about a spiritual journey and connecting spiritually with God."
I was also fascinated by the Asian and Australian connections in the article. They served to reemphasize the universal nature and global embrace of Mary Baker Eddy's remarkable accomplishments. My thanks to Marilyn Jones for sharing with readers the interview details and the associated e-mail from George Glover.
