Prayer heals diagnosed growth on spine

In May 2002, I began losing strength in my right hand. I couldn't make a tight fist, or lift things, and when I used my hand, my arm would tingle and become very cold.

I had been introduced to Christian Science by my wife. At first, I tried to take care of the situation on my own, by praying for myself with some of the spiritual concepts that had helped me in the past. I didn't even tell my wife about it. I also continued to go to work. There were many responsibilities involved with the business that we own and manage, and there was no one to take my place.

But by summer the condition had worsened, and I was becoming very worried. Now I was having trouble with both arms at times. I talked with my wife about it. We canceled a number of family plans, and I also backed out of two deep–sea fishing trips I was scheduled to take with some friends. Sometimes in the evenings as I sat on the couch, my side was so cold that I covered myself up with a blanket.
