On a totally OPEN ROAD
Writer Patti Kadick offered to let the Sentinel look over her shoulder as she writes a travel journal during a summer of spiritual self–discovery . Recently laid off from her job, Patti has put all of her earthly belongings into storage — at least the stuff that won 't fit in her car — so she can go, quite literally, where the Spirit leads her. She first drove from Massachusetts to upstate New York to visit her brother, then on to Toronto where her daughter and her son–in–law live. The day we went to press, Patti left Toronto for northern Michigan, where her kids grew up. We'll keep you posted.
Boxes and furniture are strewn all over the sidewalk.
The apartment's empty. No turning back now.
