I became acquainted with Christian Science when I was in Germany. A friend in North America had just finished reading Science and Health, and she wrote to me that the book answered her questions. She thought I should read it.

I looked for it everywhere, but nobody had heard of it. Then, one day, a man in a bookstore told me, "Look, you can order that book from a place that's quite far from here." The address turned out to be a book-store right next door to my house. I went over there and spoke to someone, ordered the book, and received it a few weeks later.
