Resentment healed—which brings healing of injured foot
One afternoon as I was leaving the building where I'd just begun a new job, I tripped on a small descending slope. I literally went flying out of my shoe. My ankle and foot hurt just slightly as my foot twisted to one side. Embarrassed, I looked around for spectators, gathered my shoe, and walked off.
On the drive home, I stopped to take a short walk. When I started to make my way across the parking lot, my foot began to hurt. As I walked farther, I began to limp. Soon, I realized I needed to head back to my car, since I was rapidly losing the ability to put any weight on the foot. I then turned to God in prayer, in order to understand myself more fully to be the "image and likeness" of God, as stated in the Bible, and that I am therefore spiritual.
