Grateful for the good and expecting more
Is it only the big, "Aha" moments that matter? What about all the smaller ways that we find our lives are blessed? Do the small things really count? I think they do, because giving thanks for those small blessings lays the groundwork for effective prayer—the kind that opens the door for bigger things to come.
My daily study of Christian Science shows me that each time I turn to God, I find an answer. I am proving, for myself, that this type of prayer is not a complicated theory—it's practical and it works in your life. You can use prayer in all kinds of situations, small or large.
What Mary Baker Eddy once referred to as "practical, operative Christian Science" is based in prayer—quietly listening for inspiration from the intelligent Mind that governs the whole universe and is available as an integral part of everyday living.
