Some good news for Sentinel readers

WE'RE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE that someone well known and loved by Sentinel readers—Senior Managing Editor Bill Dawley— has been named Editor of the Christian Science Sentinel, as well as The Christian Science Journel and The Herald of Christian Science.

Bill's frequent "Welcome" and "Sentinel Watch" columns have for several years delighted, touched, and inspired people turning the Sentinel's pages. These contributions have been part of the latest chapter in his long record of service to the Cause of Christian Science.

Soon after completing his education as a broadcast journalist, Bill started studying the book that has since guided his life, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. His career with the Christian Science publications began in the late 1960s as a host for the radio series "The Bible Speaks to You," produced by The Christian Science Publishing Society. Over the years, he's been a staff member of The Christian Science Monitor, newscaster for "The World Service of The Christian Science Monitor," and Assistant Manager of the Church History Department.
