Healing of recurring nighttime stomach pain
I woke up in the middle of one night with a strong burning pain in my stomach. Although I've learned that when I pray, things get better, this time the pain felt too severe and scary for me to think straight, let alone to pray.
I decided to phone a Christian Science practitioner to pray with me. Even though it was very late, he was loving, gracious, and encouraging. He assured me that God was taking care of me and that therefore I had nothing to fear.
After we finished our conversation, I knew he was praying for me. Also, I tried to calm down by remembering other healings I'd experienced through prayer. The pain lingered for a couple of hours. Then it abated.
