WHAT WOULD JESUS SEE?
I've Always Loved old things. Old houses, old furniture, old clothes. And as a writer, I've loved hunkering down in old coffee shops with a pen and paper, and in recent years, with my laptop. I guess it would come as no surprise that I've never been crazy about malls.
But recently, it was being at a mall that helped heal some judgmental thinking, which was obviously in great need of being uncovered.
I drove my 12-year-old daughter and her friend to see a movie at our local mall—which is a good distance from our house, since we live out in the country. I asked the theater manager what time the movie would be over, and arranged to meet the girls then.
