Problems resolved on trip abroad
Original in Portuguese
My son invited me to travel from Brazil to Canada with him and my eight-year-old granddaughter. The child was afraid to fly and sat huddled in her airplane seat. She looked very upset. Right after dinner she began to throw up.
I spoke to her and explained that God is always with us, whether we're above the clouds or at home on solid ground. Our divine Parent occupies all space, and we can never be outside of this Parent's love and care.
My granddaughter became calmer and soon fell asleep. I continued to pray. When she woke up, she was no longer afraid and seemed to feel better. On the return trip she wasn't afraid, and was her usual happy and vivacious self. She thanked me for praying with her.
