Growing, spiritually
When I was young, I attended church and learned to love the Bible. Some years later I began to read Science and Health. This book helped me to understand better the inspiration of the Bible. This was also my introduction to the practicality of spiritual healing.
Because of this reading, I soon gave up smoking and drinking. My life grew happier and more constructive. I read: "In Science man is the offspring of Spirit. The beautiful, good, and pure constitute his ancestry" (Science and Health, p. 63). This meant my very being was grounded in divine Love and did not exist in a limited existence. And that fact has brought me a lot of joy. It has also brought healings.
One day I found a growth on my leg. It got larger, and there was heavy bleeding. I had a feeling that the condition was getting out of control.
