Thanksgiving—still having it?
A good friend of mine never failed to get the most out of the Thanksgiving dinners we shared.
One year, family obligations took me farther afield, and my friend and I didn't get together until several days afterward. As I swept into our favorite breakfast place, I asked cheerily, "Well, what sort of Thanksgiving did you have?"
He grinned wryly over the top of his bagel and said, "What do you mean? I'm still having it!"
