A quick healing

One day on my usual morning run, I stumbled on a board sticking out of the boardwalk and twisted my ankle badly. I thought right then, "I am God's child. Nothing can ever happen to me if it can't happen to God."

When I got back to our house, I told my grandmother, Gramma Hallock, what happened. She and I immediately looked up something I like in Science and Health. It goes like this:

"Question.—What is man?

Answer.—Man is not matter; he is not made up of brain, blood, bones, and other material elements. The Scriptures inform us that man is made in the image and likeness of God" (p. 475).

After reading that, I picked up a Sentinel that was lying on the table next to me and found a testimony that was helpful. When I finished reading it and praying some more, I looked down at my hurt ankle. It was perfectly fine.
