A monument to life

We can expect life to unfold to us more of the richness and beauty that we are naturally heir to.

All of a sudden I came upon it. But it was not at all what I had expected. I knew the Vietnam Veterans Memorial was somewhere in this majestic Washington, D.C., park—but I had imagined a tall, imposing monument.
