A life renewed
One day during the mid-1970s, I was very ill with the flu and all that goes with it. I began reading a Sentinel that a friend had loaned me. Though I knew practically nothing about Christian Science and was skeptical, I became interested in it because this friend had had healings through prayer and the application of the truths in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
The Sentinel article I opened to was hard for me to understand at first because I wasn't at all familiar with the terminology or concepts. But I felt that God was gently nudging me to continue reading, opening my thought to receive the message.
