GOD AT SCHOOL
What you need, when you need it
At The End of my freshman year of college, I needed to get credit for a special project I'd done. That meant getting the approval of a bunch of different people. I knew it was right that the extra work I'd put in to complete this difficult project not go unnoticed.
I met with the dean, and he said I had to fill out a credit transfer form and submit it for his approval. I had no idea where to find this form, or even what it was. I was feeling discouraged and was trying not to wallow in these feelings. I've learned that God is a constant source of guidance and protection, and that I, as a daughter of God, can never be left out of anything. "Shepherd, show me how to go/O'er the hillside steep," I thought, remembering a poem I knew (Mary Baker Eddy, Poems, p. 14). This was helpful in making me feel loved and at peace.
