Practical and provable truth
Several years ago a growth appeared on my foot. It was large and ugly and often hurt. I prayed about it from time to time for over a year, but it persisted.
After hearing a talk on Christian Science I felt very inspired. Later, when I was putting on some sandals, I thought, "Oh, you can't wear those. You have that thing on your heel." I immediately prayed about this. I actually stamped my foot in rejection of the idea that God had created me to have any blemish. I declared aloud that I was complete and perfect, and that nothing could impair what God had made. That was a turning point. The growth began to diminish. It disappeared in a few weeks, leaving smooth skin. That was over four years ago, and there has been no return of the problem.
