Dealing with injuries
Late last year I was helping Mum to do the shopping. I was pushing the trolley around the supermarket. It moved suddenly and banged into my shin. It was very painful. So I started to pray.
I knew that I was God's spiritual child. I couldn't be hurt. I kept on thinking like this. A little while later the pain stopped. My shin was fine.
After sports at school one day, I realized that I had hurt my hip. I told Mum about it at bedtime. We talked about God and how God was my Father-Mother. We also thought about what it says in the Bible: "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good" (Gen. 1:31).
