Instantly able to walk
Here is a healing that marked a big step in my spiritual understanding.
A while ago, for no apparent reason, my ankle and leg began to swell. It was impossible to walk, and I was confined to bed. I immediately called a Christian Science practitioner and asked her to begin praying for me. During the next two weeks, I studied and prayed intensively, but there didn't seem to be any improvement.
One Saturday morning, I decided to try walking outside. The swelling made it impossible to bend my ankle, and the pain was intense. But as I slowly walked, I declared that God was All, that He was good, and that therefore everything in His creation had to show His goodness. Since this condition was not good, it could not possibly have come from God and consequently have any reality.
