A NEW APPROACH TO LIFE FOUND
The Herald of Christian Science
For a long time, a man who looked like he might not have a home would pass by the Christian Science Reading Room and read some of the material in the display window. If that material wasn't updated, on Monday he would appear at the door and remind me.
I always invited him to enter, but he never accepted. I would usually offer him one of the Christian Science magazines. The one day I offered him Science and Health.
Later I again saw him reading the material in the window, and he was a different man. He looked clean, serene, beautiful. He told me eventually that through reading the Bible and Science and Health, he had stopped drinking and was healthy and happy. God had healed him. Now this man is a useful member of the community.
