Welcome, daylight!

He who makes the day to dawn
now dawns in us anew;
Each sacred thought, each treasured word,
brings day* to see us through.

He who makes the day to dawn
is watching through the night,
Attending to our every need,
and guiding us aright.

He who makes the day to dawn
shall gently lead us on;
Unfolding Love, revealing Life,
till all earth's dreams are gone.
