INTERVIEW

Set upon high places

Though the hoops with college basketball player Trevor Huffman

In recent weeks, people attending the Church of Christ, Scientist, in Kent, Ohio, half an hour's drive from Cleveland, have gotten used to the sight of a 6-foot, 2-inch Kent State University student in sneakers sprinting up to the main door of the church.

He is Trevor Huffman, a twenty-year-old sophomore, and an education major, specializing in English. Trevor made an impressive debut last year as a combination point guard and shooting guard on the Golden Flashes team, which reached the NCAA Division One tournament for the first time in its history. This year's tournament begins on March 16, and will culminate in the Final Four event in Indianapolis on April 1 and 3.

We talked with Trevor just after he had returned with the Golden Flashes from a warm-up tour of Italy and the Netherlands.
