Our common bond: Spirituality

Treat "them" as loved kin.

There is a card that pictures the familiar Schulz cartoon character, Linus, thumb in mouth, his blanket clutched close to his cheek, saying:

"I love mankind. It's people I can't stand!!"

This amusing comment presents a serious question. It is often easy to respond generously when disaster strikes another country or when people are affected by war. We send money or volunteer our services.
