Trust God—as a little child

God's love heals

Little Children Naturally trust their parents. Can adults have the same kind of childlike trust? Yes. We can trust God. who is our true Father and Mother. We each are God's child right now, and we always have been, so we can trust Him implicitly.

Identifying ourselves and others as the precious children of God's creating lifts our view. My way of seeking the child within is to pray each day to let my God-given childlikeness—my innocence and ability to trust—shine through. Then I feel happy and close to God, having entered, in a degree, "into the kingdom of heaven" on earth (see Matt. 18:3).

God's children, in the truest sense, are joyfully and selflessly expressing His nature. It is our privilege and ability to look for and to nurture the childlike qualities, not only in ourselves but in others. This is loving our neighbor as ourselves, which is part of fulfilling the law of Love as taught by Christ Jesus. Praying to see the good that God has created transforms us. We don't set out to change anyone else, but our view of humanity changes for the better through God's thoughts revealing our true nature.
