Need an interpreter?
There are answers to life's questions.
For as long as I can remember, I have wished I had a very wise person to whom I could turn with any question imaginable and get a true, clear, and satisfying answer. As a little child likes to be in the presence of her parent, grandparent, or guardian, so I would stay close to this person and ask questions to my heart's content. Also, that person would not dictate to me or inhibit me from expressing my own desires and pleasures, but simply be there to offer guidance, advice, and loving counsel when asked. I would call this person "Interpreter."
Through the ages, people have sought the wisdom of wise men. They travel any distance and exert any effort to reach one who they think can impart knowledge, wisdom, and power. In Jesus' day multitudes followed him because of his wonderful works of healing and reformation.
They clung to his words, and those who strove to make his teachings their own were called his disciples.
