I wanted to help in the best way possible

During an aquarobics class, a woman I didn't know well exercised over to me and asked if she could ask me a personal question. I said, "OK." She asked me what I was planning to do when going through menopause. She then explained her predicament about the available doctors and drugs.

I thought for a moment and then answered sincerely, "I'd pray about it!" We went on talking about religion in general, about Christian Science, the Bible, and prayer. I made a comment that reading Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy was the way to truly understand the Bible's message, and I offered to give her a copy. She said she'd like that.

It was a good conversation with honest, searching questions. While she moved on into another area of the pool, I rejoiced both in God's love for all mankind and in the fact that this woman's spiritual needs were being answered.
