There was a time when I used cocaine every day, maybe twenty times a day. What was I thinking of? What was I doing? What was this power that the cocaine needle had over me? What was blindly driving me to go without hesitation into the unlighted streets and alleys of abandoned apartment complexes to trade money for this drug?
The hole in my life was filling up.
