Celebrating the Book of (abundant) Life

Come to the Bible ready to be blessed.

Several years ago two friends of mine were discussing Christ Jesus' words "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). One friend, who felt that she had always lacked something, saw in the Master's words the promise that she would have everything she needed in abundance. The other friend, who felt burdened by too many things, said, "How about an abundance of simplicity?"
