You can quit smoking
From a pack-a-day habit to freedom
A CIGARETTE CAN'T FORCE YOU TO SMOKE IT
FOR THOSE WHO are trying to quit smoking, there is wonderful news. You can quit. Here's why: there is no law of God that says you must continue to smoke. Realizing this fact freed me from addiction to cigarette smoking.
Several years ago while working in the restaurant business, I developed a smoking habit that began with a few cigarettes a day with my co-workers during our breaks. At that time, I wanted to see if there was any benefit to smoking. This eventually led to a pack-a-day addiction, which continued until I felt it was adversely affecting my health. By then I really wanted to quit, but couldn't imagine being without cigarettes. I thought I would be a smoker for the rest of my life.
