A good news story for the world
Christianity in Africa
News Editor Kim Shippey visits African Enterprise, an interdenominational and international organization operating as a mission and service agency primarily to churches in the urban centers of Africa.
"I remain very excited about Christian ministry in sub-Saharan Africa," said Michael Cassidy, founder and international team leader of African Enterprise, "because I think this is the continent with possibly the most open heart in all the world to the Christian message and to the Christ."
We were talking together in his office on a densely wooded hillside on the outskirts of Pietermaritzburg, the capital of the province of KwaZulu-Natal. Below us, through a soft, swirling mist, we could see the whitewashed, red-tiled buildings that are the organization's headquarters.
